Our Story
a cigar for any time of day
Los Gallos Cigars was born from more than a love of cigars, it was built through years of connection to Honduras and the people behind the leaf. Our founder spent more than 15 years working in Honduras in the nonprofit realm, and over time, Danlà became a second home. Through relationships with local tobacco farmers and families, he developed a deep appreciation for the craftsmanship, tradition, and patience behind a premium handmade cigar. With a professional background in design and an education in architecture, he eventually brought two passions together: design and cigars, creating a brand where every blend has a purpose, personality, and story.
Our collection is built around one simple idea: a cigar can be enjoyed any time of day. Beginning in the morning with our smoothest, creamiest and lightest blend, designed to pair with a cup of coffee. The collection gradually builds in flavor and strength throughout the day. Our daytime blend brings notes of cinnamon, nutmeg and almond, making it a natural companion to bourbon. The afternoon blend introduces a sweetened tip with floral and earthy notes, created with dessert in mind. And when night arrives, our fullest expression delivers a distinctive chocolate-mocha profile rich enough to stand entirely on its own. Morning. Day. Afternoon. Night. At Los Gallos, quality will always come before quantity. We intentionally produce approximately 15,000 cigars per year, allowing us to remain focused on consistency, craftsmanship and smoothness rather than mass production. Every blend is developed to remain enjoyable all the way down to the nub, without leaving behind the harsh finish often associated with an overworked cigar. That limited production is our sweet spot: enough to share what we love, while keeping the attention on the tobacco, the people who make it, and customers who smoke it.Â
